My iMesa idea is...

Put welcome to mesa city banners on light poles starting when you enter Mesa.

something like this http://www.eurosigns.ie/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/CityLimitsBanners2.22082324_std.jpg

it brands the city that they care.. put all throughout 60 and 202.. it also educated ppl how big mesa is.. even go further everytime there is a large scale event change the sign make it part of the requirement.

great idea...you can even make banners that say welcome to Mesa then have mission statement like citrus valley or city of orange grove or whatever and state the village name.... manage the city and do some brand management

simple but i know what you are talking about.. it makes it feel the people are proud of their city.. banners are definitely a pride thing.. i like the idea of banners on light poles on all thru 60 and 202.. one side can be gilbert otherside can be mesa .. we r partner is growth and collaboration.

I like this simple idea. No other city does this currently and the costs shouldn't be outrageous for flags/banners strategically placed. You can even put them at major street arteries that feed in from other cities.
