We need an INDOOR pool!
I really wish we had an indoor pool; I am very susceptible to skin cancer from being in the sun, but I LOVE to swim!!

Reduce property taxes
Reduce property taxes and Mesa Sales tax.
My property tax has increased 10% and the value of my home has declined 32% in the past 4 years.
Furlough city staff and Mesa teachers and reduce sales tax. this will put the city's budget in-line with the reduced school population and turn Mesa into a valley shopping mecca which would actually increase city tax revenue.3 votes -
Tempe e-Rail will be an economic straw for Tempe sucking RiverVIew dryry
The next cubs stadium will be cash cow for Tempe leaving MESA with the expense side of the ledger

Work with Police, Neighborhs, etc to establish program for bike rental and or free usage
Work with Police so that community may use the confiscated bikes (in storage). Have businesses along main streets work on the bikes (may even paint them to reflect business colors) and have these available to customers for rental or free use. Have businesses also install bike loops.

"Block Watch"
I propose to form a block watch at Golden Hills Park due to the look of concern I have seen on children leaving Stevenson Elementary School.

More lighting in city parks and retention basins.
Walking through the parks after dark feels dangerous with so little lighting, more lights should be added.--

More Disc parks around the valley
i am an avid disc golf player however I find that there is only one park in Mesa and I have to drive into Scottsdale or even Fountain Hills. It would be nice to go have a few parks to chose from close enough to home that I don't feel like i'm making a day trip out of it. I find that the one park is often crowded and which makes me feel rushed.
